BOOKS

Our family enjoys books. Growing up I always remember mom having a book. We could see the public library from our house and called it our library. When I was in elementary school mom became the librarian. So, it's no wonder that I enjoy reading. Following are posts about the books that I'm currently reading. I'd love to hear what you're reading.

funny, i'm reading the same book on emotional health. powerful. i'm also working through Anne McCaffrey's DragonQuest. No wizzards and no magic. Just men and women doing the usual things with dragons as their closest allies. Y'know, risk your life to save the planet. the usual.

I just finished Peace Like a River by Leif Enger. It's a fiction book. Moved a little slow in parts, but it was still good. Now I can't decide what to read. I have a bunch of books here from the library, so I have to pick one out. I'm also reading Get Out of That Pit by Beth Moore. I usually have a nonfiction book going at the same time as a fiction book.

We're reading The Year of Miss Agnes as our read aloud for school. THAT is an AWESOME book!! I already read it to myself in December before I started it with Lauren.

I'm reading The Reflective Life by Ken Gire, Soul Feast by Marjorie Thompson, and a WHOLE lot about gastroenterology!
