My Little BOY

It rained this week. And look what the little BOY found.

The Little Guy Had His 3rd Birthday

The little guy had a great birthday. And, we are continuing the celebration with extended family today.

Presents in the morning, a balloon from the $ store, sunglasses from the optometrist, a free birthday cake from Marsh and a blue birthday cake with blue (superman) ice cream.

Hard to believe he's three. I remember the day he was born - I walked a lot that day. I think that the music we had playing when he was born was a song by Cadmen's Call - Beautiful Mystery. He is an amazing child. We are blessed.

You know you have a boy when your two year old child holds up cardboard and clothes pins and says "I shoot you mommy."

First Day of School

Yesterday (August 10, 2009) was the first day of school here in Plainfield, Indiana.Here's a photo of my four kids.

Our little princess, who likes pink, went off to kindergarten on the school bus. She's in AM kindergarten so rides the bus to school with her 3rd grade sister and home on the bus by herself.

Last night she asked if she could go to school again. I'm so thankful that it's going well so far.

End of summer fun

Today I took the kids to The Children's Museum and The Indianapolis Zoo (we are members at both). The kids enjoyed the Take Me To Egypt exhibit at the museum and then we saw an elephant show and rode the ponies at the zoo. Fun, fun, fun. School starts on Monday. Oldest will be in 4th grade - I'm homeschooling him. The girls will be in 3rd and kindergarten at the local public school. The little guy will be three at the end of September so he's still just hanging out at home learning his ABCs and such.

I met my friend Jennie at IWU.

This past weekend the kids and I went to visit her.

I have four kids and Jennie has 3 beautiful girls.

The Big Sandbox

My husband was at the office late last night so I took the kids to the park to play in the big sandbox.
